Grant Programs Information


Grants-to-Teachers are awarded semi-annually: For information on Grant application deadlines and award announcements, please contact the Executive Director of the Claremore Public Schools Foundation at 918-923-4308. Grant applications will be accepted for the following on a semi-annual basis

  • Classroom Grants provide funds for innovative classroom projects and materials
  • School Site Grants support multi-class, multi-curriculum and/or multi-school projects
  • Experts in Residence allow specialists on a variety of topics to become classroom instructors
  • Scholarships for Teachers and Administrators provide funds for workshops, conferences, symposiums and seminars.

Grant Applications

Applications may be obtained from the CPSF office at 102 W 10th St. (Formally CUE) or downloaded as a Microsoft Word document by clicking here.


Grants are awarded on a competitive basis for materials, supplies and projects not available through regular district funding. The CPSF Allocations Committee reviews requests and prioritizes them based on:

  1. need for the project
  2. number of students affected
  3. project goals and objectives
  4. reasonable budget
  5. means of assessment


Any teacher or administrator in the Claremore Public School District is encouraged to apply for the grants.

Fast Track Grants

Fast Track Grants are available for unforeseen, immediate educational opportunities that arise throughout the year. They will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Funds are limited. Fast Track Grant applications may be obtained from the CPSF office or downloaded as a Microsoft Word document by clicking here.

The Claremore Public Schools Foundation strives to “make a difference in the life of a child through education.”  The Bluejacket Memorial Scholarship Fund was established as an endowment gift to the Foundation to be given to students graduating from Claremore High School .  The gift is to be used for scholarships to institutions of higher learning:  a Junior College, College or University for the purpose of undergraduate study.

It is the Foundations goal to award scholarships to graduating seniors from Claremore High School who wish to attend college and have a proven record of academic achievement.  Any student with a minimum GPA of 3.0 will be considered for this scholarship program.

Criteria to be evaluated will be:

1.     Leadership/Civic/Community Involvement

2.     Honors/Awards

3.     Extracurricular and campus activities

4.     Academic achievement (GPA/ACT/SAT)

Applications may be obtained through the Counselor's office at Claremore High School

Return the completed application to the Claremore Public Schools Foundation Office or the Claremore High School Counselors office by the date on the application.  Winners will be announced in April.
